HUMBOLDT — This year, it will be Futuristic Industries that will benefit from Fuel Good Day.
On Tuesday, Sept. 15, 10 cents from every litre pumped at the Humboldt Co-op Gas Bar will be donated to Futuristic.
“The money donated by the co-op will give an opportunity to expand our music program,” said Bev Tratch, the community co-ordinator, in a video posted by Futuristic.
Futuristic Industries has made musical contributions in the past. Last year Morris Matieshen, one of the members, and Ray Whitton, Futuristic’s executive director, performed during Telemiracle 44.
Tratch acknowledged the Humboldt Co-op’s part in Fuel Good Day.
“We also want to thank all of the people who will come with empty gas tanks to fuel up on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Co-op Gas Bar.”
