We hope all the young people enjoyed the week's break from school and are now ready to work hard until the Easter break, which comes rather late this year.

Kathy and Ross Campbell accompanied by son, Jason and Ross's parents Walter and Joyce Campbell returned home Monday, Feb. 10 from a holiday spent in Florida. Their daughter Sharon and her husband Steve Kulbida were with them as well. They did lots of sightseeing, enjoying such sights as the wildlife park and the space centre. A highlight was time spent at Disney World. The beachers were very much enjoyed.
Arlee Lumgair accompanied her daughter, Shawna and grandson, Arlan to the winter games held in Prince Albert. Arlan was participating in the wrestling at the games.

A joint budget meeting of the Maidstone, Waseca, Eldon volunteer firefighters was held in the RM office this past week. They also took inventory of the equipment at the fire halls.
Florence Pike enjoyed a visit from her granddaughter, Michelle, her husband Eric Tiegen and their family Sunday.
Keith and Debbie Pike and Kevin and Yvonne Pike returned earlier this month from holidays spent in Hawaii. They each travelled with friends to the islands. Kevin and Yvonne spent two weeks there and Keith and Debbie were there for a month. They enjoyed the sights, the entertainment and the beaches.
