Hi there! It's April 1 as I write this, but I do think its an April Fool joke that we have spring now. Last month was so cold and a couple of days of stormy weather that closed many highways. So at least now we have some nice sunny days so perhaps there is hope for better times ahead.
I hope you all had a Happy Easter. Not many of out tenants went away for Easter or had company then. I'm sure it was on account of the bad weather.
However Ada Pasutto and her daughter Carol and son-in-law Brian Morrison travelled to Moose Jaw to visit Carol's daughter and Ada's granddaughter Raina. I'm sure you had a nice visit with your family, Ada.
Nancy and George Milnthorp drove to Edmonton with their son Marvin and wife from Meadow Lake to attend the graduation of their grandson Brett Milnthorp, who is now a police peace officer. You must be very proud of him, folks. Hope you had a lovely time together.
March 7, we were so glad to have Jeremy Reynolds from housing here to entertain us with his singing and guitar music. He writes some of his own songs, too, so he is very talented in that area. His small son seems to display some of his dad's musical ability as he entertained us with a little dancing.
In March we also enjoyed an Easter supper catered by Second to None. The menu was ham, scalloped potatoes, salad, vegetables and dessert. We certainly all did justice to this delicious meal.
Get well wishes go out to Helen and Cyril Pascoe who are both in the hospital. Do hope you both will soon be better and able to come home again.
Anyone else that's suffering from flu, do wish you have an early recovery.
