Lil McMillan enjoyed the McMillan family reunion at Silver Lake this weekend. She enjoyed seeing the family members from all over.
Tillie Linkert was to Loon Lake with her three girls for August long weekend, leaving Friday and getting home Monday.
Coffee at the suites was enjoyed listening to poems and playing bingo. Jean Hartman had a book her mother had made with letters from her uncles sent from the First world War, commemorating the war's 100th anniversary. The envelopes with the letters showed one-cent stamps. One was marked censored. It was an interesting book.
Swimming lessons have started at Silver Lake. Colleen Koski's granddaughter Jasmine is really enjoying them.
Jean Stewart has had her grandson Chad Stewart and two children of Medicine Hat Alta. to visit. They have been fishing and Chad caught a 32-pound fish. They took pictures and then put it back. His daughter caught a ten pounder. A very good fishing weekend.
Janet Innis and two girls, April and Sarah, were visiting their Aunt Jean Stewart on the long weekend.
With the rain showers and warm sun everything is thriving and staying green. We are enjoying the fresh vegetables and raspberries. Thanks everyone.
