Children explore art at a Chapel Gallery workshop.

The Chapel Gallery will be hosting Family Open Studio Events on the last Sunday of the month for May, June and July.

Artist and gallery staff member Crystal Chvala will be providing a great opportunity for families to learn about specific art forms together. Parents and children can come out to the gallery, enjoy a hands-on art activity and take their creations home with them.

Introduce your children to the world of art in a safe and creative environment while having fun and making some new art pieces for your home.

Sunday, May 27 will feature calligraphic block printing, Sunday, June 24 window clings will be created and Sunday, July 29 quilling - paper filigree/curl art - will be introduced.

A workshop fee of $2/person will be collected to cover the cost of materials. All ages welcome.

The Chapel Gallery will be closed Friday, June 1 through Sunday June 3.

The Chapel Gallery is located in the Don Ross Centre at 891 - 99th St. and is open from noon to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. For more information please contact the Chapel Gallery at 445-1757.
