We wish Walter Campbell a speedy recovery. He is presently recuperating in an Edmonton hospital.
The Waseca Hall Committee members are making final arrangements for the fall supper to be held on Sunday, Nov. 2. Many phone calls have yet to be made.
New flagpoles will soon be in place at the cenotaph near Waseca Hall. Some work will also be done on the cenotaph.
Barry and Vi Broadhead have returned to their home in Waseca after spending most of the summer in the Northwest Territories.
Welcome to the village goes out to Raylene Pynten, who is now owner of the house on the corner of 1st Street West and Railway Avenue. The house was previously owned by Rachel and Gunnar Gustefson. The house happens to be the oldest house in the village.

Catlin Huard has moved a house into the village. It is located on Main Street. He hopes to have it ready to occupy shortly.
A new house being built in Douglas Place is well underway.
What was, at one time, Waseca store, is now being converted into a home. The owners hope to occupy it before winter.
Arlee Lumgair recently spent a few days with her daughter Tracy and family at Meadow Lake. Sewing Halloween costumes was the order of the day while she was there. Her grandson Arlan took in his final rodeo at Wapella recently. Next will be the finals to be held in Saskatoon.
