Wow - that's all I can say. Thank you, everyone who performed and who came to our Telemiracle fundraiser. The weather was crappy but there must have been at least 200 people who enjoyed an afternoon of gospel music. Thanks to Car-Mel who sang their Telemiracle song. I'm sure everyone left with that song in their minds and hummed it all night long. I will let everyone know the time the boys will be on TV as soon as we find out.
Funds raised Sunday were over $2,000. Thank you again, Zion Lutheran Church and Pastor Sheldon for letting us hold this event at the church.
Round two, our next event is coming up. You saw this gentleman at our Legends, Dan McConnell from Saskatoon. He was our Waylon Jennings. Not only does he look like Waylon did at one time but he also sings his songs. Dan and his band will be entertaining us at the Maymont Hall in another fundraiser for Telemiracle.
Join us Feb. 16. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and admission is $15. Please call Carol or Mel at (306) 389-2440 for more information. If no one is home, please leave a message. Come and enjoy an evening of entertainment, dancing, cash bar, silent auction, door prizes, 50/50 draw and a surprize box. Lunch will be provided and tickets will be sold at the door.
