"Should there be any businesses or individualswishingto donate items to our auction, that would be awesome. Give me a shout," Cox urges.

"I have been wanting to do this since starting the Christmas Parade, but the parade itself was my first priority and took all my time," Cox says.

"This year, with my good friends taking charge of the parade, I have been freed up. So y'all come and let's go boot scooting!"

Cox is inviting everyone to dust off their boots, bring family, friends and a little extra cash.

"I look forward to seeing y'all there as we kick of the Cowboy Christmas Parade weekend," he adds.

"Many thanks to all in advance for supporting this event as we continue to help those children less fortunate at Christmas."
