Culture representatives

Rivers West, a sports, culture and recreation organization formerly known as River Junction Recreation, sponsored a cultural program meeting at St. Walburg on April 12. In attendance representing Maidstone Museum were Mae Hinde and Dorothy Schwartz.

Rivers West, a sports, culture and recreation organization formerly known as River Junction Recreation, sponsored a cultural program meeting at St. Walburg on April 12. In attendance representing Maidstone Museum were Mae Hinde and Dorothy Schwartz. Representatives also came from Glaslyn, Hafford, Speers, Paradise Hill, Frenchman's Butte, Rosthern, Eatonia, Saskatoon, Regina, Goodsoil, Turtleford, Meadow Lake, Maidstone, St. Walburg and Onion Lake.

Speakers representing different programs such as SaskCulture, Saskatchewan Archeological Society, Heritage Saskatchewan, West Central Tourism and the Museums Association gave informative talks on their particular functions and benefits. This meeting was held in the Legion Hall in St. Walburg and was well attended. A complementary luncheon was served at noon.
