Sonningdale Hall was the scene of a going away get together for Harold and Iris Close, June 9. A barbecue and smorgasbord was enjoyed by all. It was a packed house.
Entertainment was provided by Joyce Dimmick, Winnie Schultz and the Sonningdale Quartet. Pastor Martin Crabtree, Trevor Close and The Country Cousins rounded out the afternoon.
Harold and Iris were presented a lovely photo album of all their friends and were gifted with a record player for all of Harold's records.
Hats off for the tasty barbecuing done by Bill Decker, Larry Radchenko, and Jim Schultz and to our great master of ceremonies, May Schultz.
