MAIDSTONE — Our sympathy to the family of the late Ruth Jesse. Her funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Anglican Church. Ruth was a resident in the apartments at one time.

Colleen Koski and Chantal were Sunday visitors in Lloydminster.

We would like to wish Norma Lott the best. Norma had the misfortune to trip and fall shaking herself up quite badly.

Jean Stewart was to Battleford for an eye appointment. Her daughter Marion Stoughton took her down. They were able to do a bit of shopping.

Colleen Koski was to North Battleford with her son Rylie. He had his dog to the vet.

Everybody is busy putting out bedding plants hoping it doesn't freeze now.

Duncan MacEachern took me to Cold Lake, Alta. where we visited Ken and Pam MacEachern. We helped them celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary. Like everywhere else it was dry up there, too.

I will be leaving for Prince George, B.C. to visit with my daughter Jean Leboe and family. So I will be taking the summer off from writing news. Hope to be back on the job in September.
