Through the money raised by their haunted house, North Battleford's Comprehensive High School's Comp In Action presented a donation of $468.20 to the Western Development Museum.

The Comp In Action is an extra-curricular club at NBCHS. Their purpose is to raise money for many local, national and international charities. They raise this money through activities like the haunted house, bake sales, talent show and various other activities, and have donated to the Boys and Girls Club, the Western Development Museum and the Battlefords and Area Sexual Assault Centre in the past.

The club consists of approximately 20 members, with Taisley Isaac as president and Courtenay Lessard as vice-president.

The haunted house is one of the Comp In Action's main events in the year and requires significant planning and hard work. It was held Oct. 27 at the Western Development Museum during the Great Pumpkin Masquerade and Family Dance. This year's theme was a haunted hospital. The Comp in Action separated the haunted house into five rooms; a reception area, a maternity ward, a genetic testing area and psychiatric ward, an x-ray room and a morgue.

With the haunted house under their belt, the Comp In Action members look forward to other fundraising events they will host this year.
