Volunteers of the community spent some time to do a well needed cleanup at the St. Bridgett’s Anglican Cemetery in the Baljennie area. A big thank you goes out to those who helped mow the grass and trim up all the gravesites.
Holiday season is over for this year. The school buses are back on the roads and students back in their schools with new friends and all their old school chums.
The harvesting is still going slowly, as the weather has not been co-operative.
The farmers have been able to combine most of the pulse crops and swath as the weather permits.
There has been a touch of frost in the low areas but it did not harm most crops.
Would be so nice for it to all clear up, so we could have more warm days and some sunshine.
Maybe we will get a nice long spill of Indian summer to end the season.
