A beautiful pulled pork supper with a variety of salads and many desserts graced the basement tables in the MB Church in Glenbush July 19. This was followed by a variety of gospel songs by the group from Waldheim called BJ and Friends, a talented group of musicians, singers and storytellers. It was a cool and breezy evening, but most folks went outside to eat their supper. Most had brought their lawn chairs and visited, meeting new and old friends, all leaving with a smile on their face. This event tied in with the Harvest for Kids program. Two and a half miles from Glenbush, a quarter section of land has been planted and will be harvested to supplement the coffers for the children鈥檚 program. This allows children to attend Bible camps for a week, with a follow up every week for a year, in many countries of the world. For more information, refer to the July 10 Spiritwood Herald where the program is detailed.
