Monday morning the temperature was -19 C. Sunday, was a very sunny day. We have not seen much of the sun lately. The day was lovely with no wind. Snow removal continues to be a process.
Christmas Eve Service at St. Paul's Church, Forest Bank, will be held Dec. 24 at 2:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Tuesday the Yellowhead Ramblers will be played at the lodge in Maidstone. Maidstone Grade 4 class was there. Bill McGilvery, a member of the band has been tutoring the Grade 4s in playing "spoons." They entertained along with the band.
Congratulations to Rick and Karen Johnston on the birth of a granddaughter born to Tyler and Katlyn. Harper Helen weighed in at 6 1/2 lbs. Congratulations to the proud parents and great-grandmother Florence Pike.
