A surprise party was held at the Maymont Hotel for Dawn Gray who turns 50 this month. Dawn always helps us celebrate our birthdays so this time it was her turn even though she doesn't like to be surprised and surprised she was. Family and friends brought a potluck meal and a special birthday cake. Happy birthday, Dawn, on your real birthday date. I would like to thank everyone who helped the night of the party. You guys did a wonderful job.
A bridal shower was held for Audrey Nimilowich July 25 at the Ruddell Centre. Colleen Soule introduced the wedding party extending best wishes to Audrey from the community. Vicky Acaster led a fun game for everyone to enjoy. Then Vicky and her granddaughters presented Audrey with the gifts. A lunch followed. Audrey thanked everyone for attending the shower and for the gifts. Audrey will be marrying Steve Delainey late in August in North Battleford where the couple are both employed and reside.
