MAIDSTONE I’ve missed a couple of weeks of news due to visiting and medical appointments, so now I will try to catch up.
Colleen was at Rylie and Chantal’s for supper Sunday night. Chantal and Colleen were shoppers in Lloydminster.
A number of apartment people enjoyed the Thanksgiving supper at the United Church. The weather was beautiful and the attendance was very good.
We would like to wish Evelyn Lundquist a speedy recovery. She is a patient Battlefords Union Hospital. We are looking forward to having you back home.
Lil McMillan has been under the weather but seems to be feeling better lately.
Halloween was quiet with many little spooks and goblins. The weather was so nice this year, for a change.
Many of us enjoyed the craft show and sale at the Legion Nov. 1. Denise was lucky at winning a raffle prize.
Dorothy Kissick enjoyed a visit with her sister Blanche at Eston. Her son Craig Kissick drove her down.
Jean Hartman is happy to report the arrival of a new great-granddaughter, Jillian Olivia, a granddaughter for Wayne and Carolyn Hartman of Camorse, Alta.
Keith Hartman was here Friday and took his mum Jean Hartman out for supper.
Norma Lott’s granddaughter Amanda Burt took her for a medical appointment. Everything is fine.
We had a lot of snow Nov. 2, but today it is all gone. I don’t hear the geese anymore. I guess that means winter is on the way.
