Cribbage was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Dec. 27. Jean Hartman supplied the lunch assisted by Dorothy Schwartz. High score went to Jean Stewart and low to Jean Hartman.
Bingo was played Dec. 29 with Margaret MacEachern and Jean Hartman calling. Lunch was provided by Tillie Linkert. A visitor from Grenfell, Gertie Zorn, won the loonie pot. She was visiting her son and family over Christmas. Her son works for SaskEnergy.
Jan. 3, the card game 500 was played with Jean Stewart assisted by Margaret MacEachern hosting and providing lunch. High score went to Jean Hartman and low to Hettie Richardson
I would like to wish all readers a happy, healthy New Year for 2011. Our weather may not be perfect, but it is a lot better than in many places in Canada. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
