In the spring of 2018, Canadian Tire in North Battleford was approached by a Wilkie Outlaw executive to see if Canadian Tire would like to donate some pucks to the hockey program in Wilkie.

Owner and operator Brett Payne was quick to finalize the "puck" deal and 300 official game day pucks were donated. Of those, 150 will go to the senior Wilkie Outlaw hockey team and the other 150 to Wilkie minor hockey teams.
