Congratulations to Jean Hartman who celebrated her birthday Sunday. I’m not saying what age, Jean! Saturday, Gerald and Marie Hartman took their mom Jean to Lloydminster to celebrate great-grandson Mathew’s first birthday. Sunday Keith and Dawn Hartman took Jean for a drive and lunch at the farmhouse in St. Walburg and then for a drive in the Brightsand Lake area. The trees were turning colour and it was a beautiful sight.
Rita Morrison (Taylor) has had her local family in visiting this week. Rita hasn’t been feeling well, so they are keeping track of her.
Congratulations to Raylene Hope on her 50th birthday. Her mom Bev Stewart was delighted to have her celebrate her birthday at Boston Pizza in North Battleford with a number of Raylene’s friends.
Chantal and Colleen Koski were to North Battleford to do some shopping. Colleen went with her sister Gloria Ford to Turtleford. Gloria had her dog to the vet for his shots.
Terry and Bev Ford of Sundre, Alta., were here visiting with their mom Mae Ford in Pine Island Lodge, and with Colleen Koski. Terry and Colleen are brother and sister.
Jenny Yastrubecki’s niece Wendy from Calgary had her to North Battleford to get her new glasses.
Morris Stewart of Leduc, Alta., visited with his mom Jean Stewart Sunday. They went for a drive down to Paynton Ferry crossing and to Cameron and Betty Stewart’s and Bill and Marion Staughton’s.
I enjoyed a trip Monday with Tillie Bert and three other ladies to Meadow Lake to the quilt shop. The weather was beautiful and the fall colours were breathtaking. If the weather stays like this the harvest will be going well. Hope the crops all come off.
