On Saturday, Nov. 10, a number of Waseca and area residents took advantage of Garon Coach Lines series of pre-Christmas trips to Edmonton. Arlee Lumgair, Sandra Sutherland, Bev Hult and Shirley James boarded the coach at Waseca. They enjoyed the day which included the hospitality on the bus.
School students enjoyed a five-day weekend break from classes. Nov. 8 classes were cancelled because of the weather, Nov. 9 was a student holiday as teachers had the day off in lieu of parent teacher interviews and Monday, Remembrance Day was observed. Hope you enjoyed the long weekend.
It's that time of year when students are becoming involved in winter activities. Many Waseca students are involved in hockey, Can-Skate programs and figure skating in Lashburn or Maidstone. It is hoped that Waseca ice will be ready soon.
