Several items were brought up at the January meeting of the Battleford Hillcrest Seniors.

It was noted that the two shuffleboards to be donated were picked up. A letter had been received from the Don McMorris, minister responsible for saying that they are looking into the problems at the bus station in North Battleford. We had written to complain about the fact that the station is often closed when patrons are waiting for a ride home and they are left standing outside in the cold weather. They had forwarded our letter to the Greyhound Bus Company in Edmonton.

A thank you card was received from the Battleford Union Hospital Foundation for our donation.

The Hillcrest Singers joined with the Battleford United Church Choir for the funeral of Bev Tornberg, wife of president Roy Tornberg.

The knitters did well at their Christmas sale at the Co-op Mall in December.

It is planned for all the membership to be phoned to remind them to attend the annual meeting April 9.
