The Classie Cardinals celebrated birthdays at Glenburn Regional Park, with entertainment by Carmel Country. Their music is smooth, yet toe-tapping, get-up-and-dance music. The food was supplied by Judy in the concession booth - yummy! All agreed the variety at such a small place was superb. Thanks for your hospitality, Judy.
Songs were sung and birthday cake was eaten at the surprise celebration of Albert Beaudoin's 70th birthday at the Maymont Hotel, July 30. We're waiting to see when Albert retires, then we'll have the biggest party ever. Family and friends, don't hold your breath although I did hear it is supposed to happen in October, 2011.
Don't forget August 20, 2011 is the Maymont Bike Rally, with registration from 9 to 11 a.m. Breakfast will be available and is open to the public at $5 a plate. Supper will also be available for $20, which includes the steak supper and cash prizes. Prizes for riders will include a leather jacket, leather vest, Ghostrider prizes and cash.
