The City of North Battleford 2013 Centennial Committee will be recreating the 1938 photograph of the 25th birthday celebration of North Battleford Sept. 28.
A photographer, John William Gibson (1872-1959), took the original photograph in 1938 at 11th Avenue and 101st Street (King Street). The processing of the photograph was done by Spencer Studios here in North Battleford. The technique that was used to take this image was developed by John W. Gibson and is a very unique process.
This photograph will commemorate our citizens and the centennial celebrations of the City of North Battleford. The photographer will be Paul Sayers of Viewpoint Photographic Design.

This image will be included into the time capsule to be opened in 2113 for a future generation to see.
