This week has been exciting for the students of MHS. Thursday both our senior girls' and boys' basketball teams played home games. The senior boys played the Lashburn Lobos while the senior girls played the Turtleford Titans. Both teams worked hard and won their games. The senior boys hope to continue this winning streak this weekend at their 10th annual hoopla basketball tournament.
We are celebrating Valentine's Day right in Maidstone High School. This week the Leadership 30 class held a bake sale with all of the proceeds going to Telemiracle, as well as the SADD chapter holding a cake auction. Both were successful events.
Some Grade 10 students are enrolled in charitable sewing as part of their home economics course. If you have any new or gently used fabrics or batting that you would like to donate, please contact Mrs. Heidi Bodnarchuk at Maidstone High School.
