An Afternoon Knit In is perfect for the coming winter months. Margie Davidson the creator of "Measuring the Year: By the Minute," the wonderful long knitting currently on display at the Chapel Gallery, will be in house continuing to complete her work. So come and stop by, learn how to do some knitting and enjoy an afternoon of yards of yarn and clicking knitting needles Tuesday, Sept. 2 from noon to 5 p.m. Drop in, admission is free. Donations are accepted.

Graham Flatt will fill your weekend with the wonderful world of watercolor painting for beginners. Bring landscapes and still life to life on paper as you explore the different techniques and partake in open discussions about the creative flow of things. For more information on fees and registration you can contact the Chapel Gallery. The event is Sept. 29 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Brian Corley's exhibition has been postponed to a later date. In the meantime the Window Salon will feature a Chapel Gallery permanent collection. The pieces on display have been donated by the Battlefords Arts Council.

The Chapel Gallery is located in the Don Ross Centre at 891 - 99th Street and is open daily from noon to 5 p.m. For more information please contact the Chapel Gallery at 445-1757.
