On Aug. 1 at approximately 9:30 p.m., George Cunningham of Paynton was involved in a single vehicle accident on his quad. The efforts of many including Paynton's first responders, EMS and hospital staff was not enough to repair the damage. Due to the severity of his injuries, George was air lifted to Saskatoon where doctors tried hard to relieve the pressure to his brain. At 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 George passed away after all attempts were made to keep him with us.
George did not want a funeral and will be cremated. A small gathering will be held in PayntonThursday, Aug. 8, at his home. Donations can be made towards Prayers for George Cunningham at The Purple Palace coffee shop Main Street Paynton. For more information please call Doris at 306-893-7049.
