Agribition draws locals to Regina

The weather recently has been mostly cloudy but the clouds didn't bring much snow. Time seems to fly by despite our early winter. With less than a month of time before Christmas, everyone is busy with various projects.

Time seems to fly by despite our early winter. With less than a month of time before Christmas, everyone is busy with various projects. Then a new year!

Despite the snow, some of it very wet, the roads have been good. Even so, drivers should slow down a little just to be safe.

Christine Pike and Maureen Bexson were among those who travelled to Regina to spend some time at the Agribition. They travelled there Nov. 21 to be there for the Speckle Park cattle show. They were able to have a visit with their niece, Sheila Lamont and her daughter Val Harris who were also attending Agribition that day.

Travelling was difficult at that particular time with a rainstorm that caused slippery roads and poor visibility.

News is scarce these days. I think there is lots going on. People who receive the paper and who live at other places in Canada really appreciate news from home. That's one of the reasons we like to continue the column.

Gully Gus says, "If you want a place in the sun, you must expect some blisters."
