A wide range of quality craft items will be up for sale at the Saskatchewan Handcraft Festival in Battleford July 20.

The "cornerstone of the Saskatchewan Craft Council and its Craft Art Market programming," the Saskatchewan Handcraft festival will make its 39th annual appearance in the Battlefords the weekend of July 20.

The event will take place in the Alex Dillabough Centre and feature juried exhibitors offering jewelry, pottery, clothing for women and children, metal, stone and glass sculpture, visual arts, stained and fused glass and turned wood. There will also be Saskatchewan-made food products available for purchase.

Though the number of exhibitors will be more or less unchanged since last year, there have been some changes with the Saskatchewan Network for Art Collecting manning a stall and some new vendors. Big Brothers Big Sisters will also have a kid's craft tent set up outside the event.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and youth. Children under 12 get in free. For more detailed information about the festival, including a list of artists and their websites, visit http://www.saskcraftcouncil.org/memb-prod/markets/shf/2012/marketers.php.
