January: Fundraiser for Telemiracle at Zion Lutheran Church and Maymont Hall; baby Austin Jones; 95th birthday for Sarah Beaudoin; Steven Munn joins Settlers senior hockey team for three games; Elsie and Ernie Voegeli moved to North Battleford; tag a bag comes into effect at Maymont waste transfer station; Maymont snowmobile rally draws 100 riders; Tom Caldwell's 88th birthday.
February: Jean Sherman and daughters travel to Hawaii.
March: Car Mel Country performs on Telemiracle, presents check for $6,400 from donations; World Day of Prayer; bad weather cancels Ruddell's potluck and bingo and also Sonningdale's supper.
April: Sask. Prairie Hockey League playoffs, Maymont Settlers wear blue arm bands in honour of the memory of Clair McIvor; Maymont Dance Club senior girls jazz group earned a second place finish in an Aberdeen competition; Mary Carpentier's birthday.
May: Judy Sherman travels to Germany and the Neatherlands; severe flooding in Maymont area; Mel Deagnon retires as custodian at the waste transfer station; Dee Dee MacInish is the new custodian; Pat Beaudoin turns 80; Terry Skopic turns 65; Bob McKenzie passes away.
June: Mosquitoes take over; Eberhard Seifer's house burns to the ground; Denise Bernier turns 50; Pat and John Reddekopp head to Alaska; major highway problems.
July: 8.5 million gallons and counting flood water drainage pipeline project in operation; Ruddell celebrates their 109th annual picnic; Kelly Langley passes away.
August: Krista Gray travels to Africa; surprise 50th birthday party for Dawn Gray at Maymont Hotel.
August: Seniors' center celebrates 40 years.
September: Motorcycle Grandma Gertie Sherman turns 95; Munn store is demolished.
October: Legends 4 Maymont Hotel; Colleen Prescesky passes away.
November: Maymont Trade Show; Remembrance Day at the School; Geordie Smith makes rattle to go to Prince George; Riders win Grey Cup.
December: Maymont Central School Christmas Concert.
