MAIDSTONE — Fifty people enjoyed the hospital auxiliary tea at the Drop In Centre Friday. We enjoyed angel cake, ice cream and strawberries and visiting with neighbours. The bake table was laden with (calorie free) goodies. The raffles were won by Marilyn Owens, Esther Jesse and Rene JoHner. It was a very good afternoon.
Barry Inns and Debbie of Tomahawk, Alta. were weekend visitors with his sister, Anne Reeds, and aunt, Jean Stewart.
Jean Stewart was to Lloydminster for medical treatment and also had a great visit with Ethel Sweezy.
This week birthday greetings go out to Ruth Weinhandl. On the weekend she had two daughters and two grandchildren help her celebrate, as they won’t be able to be here this weekend.
The rain that fell Tuesday was washing off the snow mold and making everything fresh and green. The tulips are blooming, too. Spring is here.
