In all workplaces, there must be a process in place for making harassment complaints and for investigating harassment complaints.

NORTHEAST – The North East Outreach and Support Services is sharing that the Public Legal Education Association (PLEA) is relaunching their Shift project.

“The re-launch of the Shift Project is a free legal referral service for survivors of workplace sexual harassment or violence. The Shift Project has been operating from 2020 to the spring 2024 and has now secured new funding and will continue for another two years,” said NEOSS.

Survivors across Saskatchewan can now once again access up to four hours of free legal advice, with no age, gender, or income restrictions, and no requirement to take legal action.

NEOSS said, “This service offers a safe and confidential way for individuals to get clarity on their experiences and learn more about their legal rights in the workplace.”

Survivors can also contact legal information officers to ask general legal questions.
