WESTON: Magdelena (Regenwetter)
Lena, age 87, of Evergreen Country Home in LeRoy and formerly of Miramichi, NB, passed away at the Humboldt District Hospital on Friday, October 9th, 2015. She is survived by her siblings, David (Cheryl), Alice (Norm) Demish and Irene (Bill) Paskaruk; as well as in-laws, Mavis Regenwetter, Paul Loroff, and Ed Rudiger; two aunts, Gladys Hilderman and Agnes Cowan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Lydia; brother, John; sisters, Louise Loroff, Rosella (Bob) Brown, and Shirley Rudiger; and foster brother, Bryan Evans. Lena was stationed across Canada serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force and 10 years in Germany. She retired as a Civil Servant after an extensive career. The Vigil for Lena was held on Tuesday, October 13th and the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, October 14th. Both services were held at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church in Humboldt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Evergreen Country Home, c/o Town of LeRoy, LeRoy, SK S0K 2P0.
