At the age of 58, Linda passed away with her family and friends by her side on January 6, 2016, at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. She was a beloved spouse, daughter, sister, mother, baba, friend and caregiver. Her infectious laughter will be missed but not forgotten. Linda was known for her welcoming personality, beautiful smile and incredible yard she spent hundreds of hours perfecting over the years. Whether she was sharing a cup of coffee with a friend, running errands for her mother, or working as a group home supervisor she had a strong work ethic and humour with everything she did. Her enthusiasm was infectious. Linda was born in Humboldt, SK. She was preceded in death by her father Roman Stadnyk. She is survived by her mother Helen Stadnyk (Siermachesky); partner Perry Rokochy; daughter Theodosia Natasha (Aaron Phillips); grandson Bennett Phillips; sister Goldie Stedman (Jim) & family; brother Murray Stadnyk (Donna) & family; the Rokochy family including Russell & Audrey Rokochy, Larry Rokochy (Shae) & family, Carla Rokochy and Colleen Griemen (Dean) & family. As per Linda’s request, there will be no funeral service. The family has established an email address: [email protected] for you to please share your stories and memories of Linda. All remembrances will be collected and shared at a private gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the dedicated Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital.
