Ivan was raised and farmed by LeRoy, SK until 1984. He then resided in Watson for 27 years in his retirement. His last three years he resided at Last Mountain Pioneer Home in Strasbourg. He was predeceased by his first wife Rose (2004) and his second wife Mona (2013), as well as his parents Dewart and Olive Earl, brother Clifford and a sister Marion. He is survived by his children: Valerie, Robert (Maxine), Gregory, David (Marlene), his 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings: Opal Reykdal, Irene Dunn (Vern), Thelma Welker, Arnold (Jill) Earl, and Carol (Les) Uhrich, John Warren and their families, as well as being survived and predeceased by many in-laws from Rose’s and Mona's families. Funeral service was held at Trinity United Church, Watson, SK, on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. Donations gratefully accepted to Canadian Cancer Society, at his request. Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel, Humboldt, SK.
