WURM: Helen Agnes

In memory of Helen Agnes Wurm (nee Loroff) born 13 July 1926, Humboldt, SK. She married Robert Emile Wurm 29 April 1946 and they have five children: Gordon(Julie), Eleanor(Rae), Grant, Thomas, and James(Connie). She also has two granddaughters: Karli(Fred) and Blythe(Kellie) as well as her great-grandchildren: Amanda, Kent, Lucas, Ethan, Jace, Ellie, Brynn and Kobyn. Helen is also survived by three sisters: Mary, Edith(Mike) and Katie(Arnold); one brother: Paul(Matilda); two sisters-in-law: Fay and Mary; and as well as many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband Bobbie in 1964, her grandson Dean and her brothers John(Margaret) and Frank, and faithful companion George. The Funeral Mass for Helen was offered at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church , Humboldt, SK, on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. celebrated by Fr. Gregory Roth. Others taking part were: Paul Loroff, crossbearer; St. Augustine Parish Funeral Choir, music ministry; Verna Altrogge and Karli Wilson, scripture readers; Verna Altrogge, intentions; and Bernie Stroeder and Jane Novecosky, giftbearers. An Honor Guard was formed by the Humboldt Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Honorary pallbearers were "all those who shared in Helen's life". Active pallbearers were Dale Buckle, Larry Buckle, Jim Wurm, Gordon Benton, Karli Wilson and Blythe Kirchner. Interment followed at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Peterson, SK, presided by Fr. Joseph Ackerman, OSB. Memorial donations may be directed to either the Humboldt Legion Ladies Auxiliary or St. Augustine Parish Center. Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel, Humboldt, SK.
