NYULI: Elizabeth The peaceful death of Mrs. Elizabeth Nyuli, 90 years of Bethany Pioneer Village, Middle Lake, occurred on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Elizabeth was born on July 2, 1925 to Albert and Annie (nee Arp) Bertow in Humboldt.

The peaceful death of Mrs. Elizabeth Nyuli, 90 years of Bethany Pioneer Village, Middle Lake, occurred on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Elizabeth was born on July 2, 1925 to Albert and Annie (nee Arp) Bertow in Humboldt. She grew up on the family farm north east of Middle Lake and attended Lake Ignace School. Following her education, she helped local families with domestic duties. On October 7, 1947 she married Julius Nyuli. Together they farmed throughout their married life. At first they lived on the Nyuli farm and then in 1954, they built a new home in St. Benedict. Elizabeth remained living there until April 2012 when she became a resident at Bethany Pioneer Village in Middle Lake. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her three children, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren: daughter, Gloria Nyuli of St. Benedict, SK; son, Bill(Doreen) Nyuli of St. Benedict and family Kurt Nyuli of Saskatoon, Mark(Candace) Nyuli and children Ethan, Katelyn, and Samantha of Osler, and Dean(Kayla) Nyuli and children Farrah and Keagan of Middle Lake; and son, Dennis(Lauretta) Nyuli of Middle Lake and family Kelly(Tammy) Nyuli of St. Benedict, Tracy(Frank) Carpentieri and daughter Juliet of St Benedict, and Sarah(Lorre) Ethier and sons Avery and Alexandre of St. Benedict; and one brother, Werner Bertow of Winnfield, AB. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Annie Bertow; husband Julius Nyuli; one brother Arthur and one sister Alice (both in infancy); three brothers: Fred, Ernest and John; and one sister Norma Carmichael. The Funeral Service for Elizabeth was held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Middle Lake Gospel Church, officiated by Pastor Ryan Schnee. Interment followed in the Middle Lake Gospel Church Cemetery. Memorial donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to Bethany Pioneer Village or Middle Lake Gospel Church. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home, Humboldt.
