Earl will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, one son, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Valerie (Rod) Smith and family, Nathan (Michelle) and Kiara; Shari Lynn (Thomas) Anderson and family, Sr. Mary Regina, O.Cist., Katelyn (Benjamin) O'Brien and Baby O'Brien, Joel (Sarah) and daughter Kayla Lynn, Kenneth, Grace and Theresa; and Terence Anderson; and three siblings: Helen, Archie and Garry. Earl was predeceased by his loving wife, Anne Hackl (nee Skarra); parents, George and Mary Hackl (nee Kurtenbach); and seven siblings: Emma, George, Eileen, Madeline, Bernice, Orville, and Roger. The Funeral Mass for Earl was held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Villa Chapel, celebrated by Fr. Gregory Roth. Interment followed in St. Augustine Roman Catholic Cemetery, Humboldt. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home, Humbold, SK.
