BRAGET - The peaceful death of Mrs. Cecilia Braget (nee Moskaluke), age 85 years of Quill Plains Centennial Lodge, Watson occurred on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, with her family by her side. Cecilia was born on November 16, 1926 in Buchanan to Mike and Dora (nee Franko) Moskaluke. She lived with her parents in the Buchanan area until 1930, when at the age of 4, they moved to a farm east of Watson. She attended Daisy School until Grade 10 and completed Grade 11 at Watson High School. After high school, she worked at the Watson Egg Candling Shop. Cecilia married Carl Braget on December 12, 1945 at Watson Trinity United Church. Together they worked very hard on their farm, 5 miles south of Watson. Cecilia and Carl were blessed with four children. She raised and sold chickens and eggs for many years. Cecilia was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards and gardening. Carl and Cecilia moved to Watson in 1980 and retired from farming in 1996. Cecilia will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her three children, seven grandchildren, three great grandsons and one great granddaughter: Noreen (Victor) Stoski and family, Kevin (Kelly) Stoski and sons Noah and Ryan, and Christine Stoski, all of Sherwood Park, AB; Dennis Braget of Edmonton, AB and family, Cassie (Colin) Wadsworth and son Cooper of Sherwood Park, and Ken (Megan) Braget and daughter Emily of Tofield, AB; Lyn (John) Mark of Nanaimo, BC and family, Brent (Carla) Cembrowski of Edmonton and James Cembrowski of Edmonton; and Brian's daughter, Lori Braget (Tim) of Vancouver, BC; one sister, Kay Braget of Saskatoon; one brother, Johnny (Diane) Moskaluke of Langenburg, SK; one sister-in-law, Betty Moskaluke of Watson; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Cecilia was predeceased by her husband, Carl Braget (2007); son, Brian Braget (1980); parents, Mike and Dora Moskaluke; one brother, Bill Moskaluke; one nephew, Tim Moskaluke; parents-in-law, Carl and Emma Braget; and brothers-and-sisters-in-law, nephews and one great niece of the Carl Braget family. The Funeral Service for Cecilia was held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home, Humboldt, officiated by Pastor Randy Blatz. Others taking part in the service were: eulogist, Lyn Mark; tribute from grandchildren, Lori Braget; and scripture reader (reading on behalf of Noreen Stoski), Kevin Stoski. Honorary Pallbearers were "All those who shared in Cecilia's life". Pallbearers were Brent Cembrowski, James Cembrowski, Kevin Stoski, Ken Braget, Victor Stoski and John Mark. Interment followed in the Watson Public Cemetery. Memorial Donations in Cecilia's memory may be made to the Quill Plains Centennial Lodge Heritage Garden Project. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home, Humboldt, SK.
