KOLLER, Beate Maria (nee Roback) passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, in the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the age of 83. She is survived by her beloved husband, Alois, Also, she is survived by their two sons Rob (of Calgary) and his wife Carleen along with their children Andrew, Madison, Sydney, Cassie, and Shea and Anthony (of Switzerland) and his wife Jolanda and their children Jana and Jamie. She is also survived by her sister Margaret (Bob) Moeller. Beate was predeceased by her parents Helene and Anton Roback, her brother Victor, and her sister Clara Koch.

Beate was born in Rosenberg, Russia in a German family in 1929 and fled to Germany during the Second World War with her mother and sisters. Along with her mother and sisters she then moved to the Humboldt, Saskatchewan area in 1949. Beate worked at St. Elizabeth's hospital in Humboldt and met Alois in 1964. After they got married in 1969 they moved to Alois' home in Viscount where they resided for their married life together.

Prayer Services will be on Tuesday, December 18 at 7:00 pm and the Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 19 at 11:00 am. Both services will be held at the St. Alphonse Roman Catholic Church in Viscount.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Viscount St. Alphonse Cemetery Fund. Fotheringham - McDougall Funeral Service of Watrous and Nokomis in care of arrangements.
