ALTMANN: Allan
Allan Richard Altmann, 84 years, of Cudworth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon. Allan was born on August 20, 1929 to George and Marguerite (nee Ciazinski) Altmann at Wakaw. Allan attended Hoodoo School and spent the remainder of his years running the family farm. Allan and Caroline (nee Poppel) were married on October 12, 1953. Allan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Caroline Altman of Cudworth; seven children and 12 grandchildren: Russell(Arlene) Altman of Saskatoon; Lavonne(Conrad) Krueger of Saskatoon and Kurt(Caitlin) Krueger of Victoria, BC and Chelsea(Iain) Krueger of Saskatoon; Randy(Lucie) Altman and Jared and Sean of Saskatoon; Rick(Val) Altman and Avery of Assiniboia; Dale(Wanda) Altman and Brooke, Logan and Dallas of Saskatoon; Janice(Darrell) Fletcher and Colby and Matthew of Saskatoon; and Darryl(Trish) Altman and Rylan and Autumn of Saskatoon. Allan was predeceased by his parents, George and Marguerite Altmann; brother, George Altmann and sister, Frances(Louis) Dansereau. The funeral mass was held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Benedict R.C. Church, St. Benedict, SK, Celebrant Fr. George Chatholil. Interment followed at the St. Benedict R.C. Cemetery. Memorial donations in Allan's memory may be directed to St. Benedict R.C. Cemetery Fund or Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to MALINOSKI & DANYLUIK FUNERAL HOME Humboldt.
