Woman facing charges after police seize meth in Battleford raid

On Oct. 16, North Battleford RCMP CRT-GTF executed a search warrant at a home on 34th Street West in Battleford, after receiving information about an individual trafficking methamphetamine.

NORTH BATTLEFORD - North Battleford RCMP Crime Reduction Team-Gang Task Force (CRT-GTF) seized methamphetamine in a recent drug-trafficking investigation.

On Oct. 16, North Battleford RCMP CRT-GTF executed a search warrant at a home on 34th Street West in Battleford, after receiving information about an individual trafficking methamphetamine.

While executing the search warrant, officers located and seized a replica firearm, 234 grams of methamphetamine and drug-trafficking paraphernalia. A woman was arrested at the scene.

As a result of investigation, a 68-year-old woman, from Battleford, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine.
