NORTH BATTLEFORD — In response to customer attendance and usage at the City of North Battleford Waste Management Facility, city council has approved new winter and summer hours of operation.
The approval came at last night’s regular city Council meeting, the final meeting of 2023.
Beginning Jan. 2, the Waste Management Facility (WMF) will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for winter hours. Summer hours of operation, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. will resume May 1 through Oct. 31. Throughout the year, customers will still be able to access the WMF six days per week, from Monday to Saturday.
The City’s Waste Management Facility is located east of North Battleford, accessible using Wearing Road off Territorial Drive. A full list of accepted materials and cart pickup reminders can be generated to your mobile device using Recycle Coach.
