BATTLEFORDS - The Saskatchewan RCMP are still looking for answers into the disappearance of North Battleford woman Ashley Morin eight years ago.

Police reported to Â鶹´«Ã½AV that the Saskatchewan RCMP Historical Case Unit continues to actively investigate the disappearance of Morin, who investigators believe is the victim of a homicide.

The Battlefords RCMP is also continuing to support this investigation.

"Since Ashley's disappearance in 2018, RCMP investigators have remained in constant contact with her family and have followed up on numerous leads and tips from the public," police said in the news release.

"Anyone with information about Ashley's disappearance is urged to report it to police," they added.

Tips can be submitted by calling 310-RCMP or the local police of jurisdiction. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or .

The reward for information leading to Morin's whereabouts has now increased to $30,000.

Angela Odgers, Ashley Morin's cousin, said she hopes the reward will help encourage more tips, so someone who knows something will come forward and speak out.

"We've asked numerous times for people who don't want to come forward to do it anonymously," she said. "We'll figure out a way to get the money to you. We don't care. We just want her [Morin] to return."
