A group of individuals drove up to the man, discharged a firearm and struck him, then stole his vehicle.
SAULTEAUX FIRST NATION - Battlefords RCMP are investigating a shooting and robbery on Saulteaux First Nation.
On Nov. 30, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a shooting and armed robbery on Saulteaux First Nation.
Officers immediately responded. Investigation determined a man was parked on the side of a grid road. A group of individuals drove up to him, discharged a firearm and struck him, then stole his vehicle.
He was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
The vehicle was later recovered.
Battlefords RCMP is actively investigating this incident, with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Services. Updates will be provided once they become available.
