NORTH BATTLEFORD — Despite the heat warning, lots of visitors came to explore this gem of an activity at the Western Development Museum Saturday.
While familiar activities such as farm demos, the Parade of Power, ice cream making and blacksmithing, which people are familiar with from Those Were the Days, were showcased, the organization wanted to expand its children’s activities area and involve more community groups. The Kanaweyimik Child and Family Services are one of the main partnerships working alongside the Western Development Museum.
