BATTLEFORD - A house fire in the Town of Battleford on Dec. 8 has destroyed a home.
The Battleford Fire Department told the News-Optimist that they responded to reports of a fire at 211 16th Street West late that afternoon.
An investigation concluded that the blaze was started due to an electrical heater. The building was a total loss and the department says that no injuries were reported as the house was empty.
