THE BATTLEFORDS - Update: Five killed in two collisions in the Battlefords.
Original post: Battlefords RCMP say they are responding to a report of a serious collision on Highway 4, about seven kilometres south of Battleford.
The highway is currently closed, and detours are in place but motorists should expect delays in the area. Please follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
As this investigation is in preliminary stages, say police, they do not have additional details to share at this time.
Note that Highway 4 south of Cochin also remains closed due to a separate collision investigation.
