SOUTHEND - RCMP are investigating a fatal collision near Â鶹´«Ã½AVend.
On Feb. 25 at approximately 9:25 a.m., Â鶹´«Ã½AVend RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 102, approximately seven kilometres outside of Â鶹´«Ã½AVend.
Officers responded along with local medical personnel. The investigation determined a truck and semi collided. An occupant of the truck was declared deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 31-year-old man from Â鶹´«Ã½AVend. His family has been notified.
Two other adult male occupants in the truck were taken to a medical clinic for treatment of their injuries. Their injuries were described to police as non-life threatening.
The driver of the semi did not report injuries to police.
