Tetu to guest speak at Yorkton Chamber

Jess Tetu was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women and received a Woman of Achievement Award from WESK.  She was named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2018 and was the recipient of the Sask Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur ABEX Award in 2014. 

YORKTON – The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce announced July 10 that the Platinum Sponsor of its 24th Annual Chamber Business Dinner is Community Futures Ventures.  

Following the announcement, Corinne Lubiniecki, General Manager of Community Futures Ventures announced that the Guest Speaker for the Dinner is Jess Tetu.

“Ms Tetu is described as a 'serial entrepreneur and philanthropist'," said Lubiniecki, adding, “she is the founder and CEO of Lia Reese Canada, the founder and CEO of Iconic Betty Jewelry, the owner of five spas, the founder of Jess Tetu Consulting and is the founder & CEO of 4seventyone Recovery Resources, a not-for-profit charity she created."

According to Lubiniecki, in 2019 Tetu was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women and received a Woman of Achievement Award from WESK. She was named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2018 and was the recipient of the Sask Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur ABEX Award in 2014. 

“Community Futures Ventures’ sponsorship of the Dinner demonstrates the value it places on the event for the business community,” said Stephanie Buckle, Chair of the Chamber’s Events committee, adding, “and the Chamber is looking forward to Jess’s presentation on her experiences as an entrepreneur.”

The Chamber Business Dinner will be held Wednesday, Oct. 4 at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Cultural Centre. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are now available.
